Object Or Not?

Honestly, I found it difficult to think of a certain word
for this topic...I simply just used the first thing that
popped into my head.

Hook, for most people, means or imposes a "bent or curved piece of metal or other material, used to attach, suspend, fasten, or lift another object". However, in our present generation we use it to suggest that we really like something or to show our fascination. We say phrases like "Are you hook on..." and stuff like that.

At present, my friends and I are hooked with an online game called Ragnarok Online or commonly called RO. It's an RPG or Role Playing Game where you can interact with other characters online. We like it so much that we spend countless hours gaming and talking. It's so much fun. Bonding time!^^

Personally, I also spend long hours online playing. I do it when I'm bummed out about things or if I have nothing else better to do. I go on long hunts searching for quest items, hunting for pets, leveling and other stuff. Hehehehehe...^^ Wee!

Audio.

Me? A good listener? Can't really say.

I can't really say whether I'm a good listener or not. I sometimes get amused by the other things around me. I can also get absorbed into listening to lectures as well as to any topic that catches my attention. I'm a moody person so I guess that sort of affects me as a listener. My problem is I sometimes space out into nothingness when I'm feeling indifferent about things and I also experience times when I get absorbed so much in another thought that I forget to listen. I don't think that I'm a bad listener, I just sometimes lose the will to actually listen.^^

I can be a static listener if I can't really relate to the subject of conversation. I normally keep quiet when I'm not involved in the subject instead of being the rude one and butting in on something that I don't really know. Me being static usually follows me being pre-occupied on other things that I don't really have anything to say. I easily get pre-occupied by the usual stuff like receiving a text message or chatting with near by friends. I'm also a reader/writer most of the time in class, especially when notes are needed to be taken down into writing and if the topic is new to me.

I'm honest enough to say that I'm not a bad listener nor am I a good one,
but I do know when to listen.

Mask.

Ever wonder how people really feel, deep inside, beyond their conscious thoughts. Not all people can express what they really feel. Some choose to suppress it; while others forget about it completely. They simply where masks to hide their true selves.

Not all are what they seem to be in front of you or other people. They pretend to be indulged in an emotion which is not there own, that of happiness. They toy with their feelings and conceal those of which they want to hold back from the vision of those around them.

Picture a girl fresh out of a relationship. Broken hearted. Possessing all the pessimistic feelings that you could probably think of. She conceals herself in the four corners of her room, her sanctuary. Here she pours her heart and soul out to the extent of keeping the presence of her sadness unknown to the watchful eyes of her guardians. She kept a deep secret all to her self.

At school, she reverts back to pretending to be someone else, gradually showing her mask of happiness. She fills her face with sweet smiles along with the joyful laughter of a person without a single dilemma in the world. She carries on in doing this that she slowly vanishes into the cold, vast oblivion in her heart.

Sad isn't it?
Try to see other people closely.
Don't be fooled by what they show in front of you.
They might just be cloaking their true feelings through a mask.

*Hahahahaha..Dramatic, I know. ^^ PEACE! xD*
