Heart or Mind?
I feel so empty. My mind. My soul. All of me feels like a huge void. A space that I cannot fill up. What's wrong with me? I feel like I'm wandering within the walls of a huge store, crowded with people of different families. I've got nothing to say about my so called life, so I'll just talk about something rather random...or not.
When it comes to LOVE, what's more important?
When it comes to LOVE, what's more important? Listen to your HEART or your MIND?
Same as other people, I don't get love so much. I don't know if its because I'm not yet that experienced or if I just simply don't understand, period. *sigh* Can't really say. I can say that I'm so stranger to that subject but there are just things about it that seems like a blur to me.
As I've seen it, LOVE can be a big battle between our mind and our heart, especially when it comes down to making critical decisions about the relationship. Decisions like:
"Should I let her/him go?"
"Do I still love him/her?"
"Can I (still) fight for him/her?"
I've seen my friends get hurt over and over again because they choose to love the wrong people. I admit at one point in time I was guilty of experiencing the same pain. Why is it that if we're the ones involved in the troubled relationship, we think differently? We can't see the flaws of our partner, we really don't want to listen to what our friends have to say about the matter. But when it's the other way around, it's funny but we tend to get mad at them for not listening. I don't really know if I'm still making sense here so try to bare with me.

Personally, I would choose mind.
But heart figuratively reigns, inevitably.
You know why? Because we can't help it. We love because our heart tells us to and makes us want to trust our instincts and how we feel.
Thus, the human emotion is stupid.
Although, even though we already know what to do and what not to do, we still fall in love with the wrong people because that's how things work. How love works.
Sucks, doesn't it?
for once, i know the subject.. i think it all depends on what is at stake for the person asking the question.
and i think everyone should know when to listen to ones heart and to ones mind.
nobody knows what is best for you except for yourself. you should also learn to think about what your friends are saying.
true, that no matter what your friends say, sometimes, you tend to ignore it because you are enjoying the feeling of being in love.
you should not always follow the advices of your friends because, not all of them may be the best for you. no matter how right you think they are. what you should do is, take into consideration what all of your friends say, put them together, and get the best out of everything they have adviced you to do.
with the comment above, 'thus, the human emotion is stupid' i would say, it is half true. half true, because no matter how you see it, human emotion help you think, and decide. no matter how much you ignore the fact.
anyway, my choice would be, the mind, period. no questions asked. :)
p.s. i shouldnt have answered this because i gave up on love. just the other morning. honestly. :(

Many consequences.
Maybe you just don't know til you try. And even when it comes to that crucial point. If you really love that special someone, you'd know what to say and do. No kiddin'. That's what I feel. But still, if things go wrong, something's to be learned. You just don't give up on love. Even if you say it, you just hide from it, afraid if what you're going to do is the right thing or wrong. Everyone who loves is afraid of that. Like I said, you never know til you try. Even if you have to do it again, just do it. Don't hestitate if you know it's the right thing to do. Just that this is what I feel.. Yeah, in love, there's a point when you'll just stare and think if you've done the right thing. It's up to you. Things that happened to others in love can happen to you, but it doesn't mean that you can't avoid that. You can. Who said that everything's the same. All is fair in love and war.

Well.. it is not easy. It'll certainly depend on the situation but I'd choose mind. I believe that is the way you won't regret after a long long time. But I know, heart wins mostly.

This is sweet, I like the topic, anyway, just want to share something. For me, when loving someone, I would definitely not use my mind, because for me, when loving, heart is important. Why? Let's say you love someone, but then you used your mind instead of your heart, you think of many things like, "what if my parents will not like him/her?.." or "what if he is not.." etc. Many of this thoughts will come to your mind if you started thinking. But then, that will not be called "love", because when you love, you use your heart, you will feel the pain, accept many hard challenges, will have ups and downs, tears falling from your face, and many more. But if you think about it, you feel all these because of love, because YOU love, and TRUE love is not about thinking of things that will make your relationship perfect or that will make your life perfect, TRUE love is attained when you let your feelings out, and just go with the flow.
In loving, it hurts, it's hard, but then even though you're in agony, you'll just say to yourself... "damn, Im out of my mind.. Well, who cares? that's what LOVE is all about." =)
